    Interim Principal Mr. Glenn Donaldson

    I am honored to serve as Interim Principal of South Middle School and to bring 34 years of middle school education experience, including more than two decades in the Pennridge community, to this role. My foundation as an educator has always been grounded in a simple belief: students deserve adults who believe in them, challenge them, and genuinely care about who they become. I believe the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships with families, a dedicated staff that feels valued and supported, and a culture where every student is known, respected, and held to high expectations. My purpose at South is to lead with humility, consistency, and heart to support our staff, partner with our families, and protect the special sense of community that defines the South Family, while ensuring that every decision we make remains centered on what is best for kids.

    I am so grateful and beyond excited to join the South MS family this school year! Having taught in the music department in the Pennridge School District for the past 13 years—10 of which were spent at the high school filled with marching band, cheerleading, and football Fridays—one of the things I have come to love the most about the Pennridge School District is the sense of community and coming together that happens here. This family and community tradition is certainly alive and well at South Middle School and it is carried on by the students, staff, families, and community members. I am looking forward to becoming a part of it, and thankful for the chance to do so!
