Welcome to Pennridge South Middle School!

As you enter our hallways, you will see beautiful woodwork and history throughout.  However, even though our building is one of the oldest in the district, the educational experience we offer our students is not.  South is filled with caring and energetic educators whose goal is to meet the needs of every student everyday as well as challenge them in their learning.

Beyond academics, another goal at South is to care for the whole child.  We understand that a child’s middle school years can be very challenging in many ways.  To assist our students in making good decisions and experiencing positive outcomes, we use a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework which serves as a system of support and practices geared toward improving student behavior and problem-solving.  This framework rests upon our mission of the three R’s:  Respect for self, Respect for others, and taking Responsibility for all your actions.

We truly believe it takes a “village” to raise a child, so we continually incorporate all stakeholders – students, teachers, support staff, and families – when it comes to supporting and educating our students.  I am proud and honored to be a part of this amazing community.
