RamPacks
Provided with love from the Pennridge Community
The RamsPacks program provides a food pack of kid-friendly, non-perishable food intended for a child’s breakfasts, lunches, and snacks over the weekends. RamPacks is a CONFIDENTIAL program for families who need financial assistance with food over weekends. RamPacks is a partnership between local churches, businesses and community groups in the Pennridge area and the Pennridge School District. This is a free program, without cost to participating students. It is intended for families who are in need of assistance with food for their children over weekends.
Items may include pop-top canned meats, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, cereal, fruit juice, shelf-stable meals, fruit, and granola bars. The food will be placed in a plastic bag and sent home with children from school at the end of each week. Parents/guardians also have the option of picking up the RamPacks each week in the main office at Central.
Parents and guardians concerned with food allergies need to be aware that the food bags may contain ingredients such as nuts, soy, wheat, eggs, and milk. The RamPacks program will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to the food consumed. RamPacks strives to include healthy and safe food. All food is labeled and sealed by the manufacturer.
