Summer Performance Info

Summer Performance @ 6^th Grade Back to School Bash Info:

This page is for students who signed-up to perform at the 6^th grade bash. You must have signed-up by Friday, May 23^rd and have completed the permission form to participate

 

Solo Auditions: Thursday, May 29^th in choir room Period 11

• Anyone interested in a solo. There are FOUR solo opportunities
• Bring your sheet music and be prepared to sing all solo parts

 

Rehearsal Date: Tuesday, August 19^th 4pm-6pm in South’s Auditorium

• Bring a water bottle, copies of your music & wear comfortable clothing
• You should come to this rehearsal knowing the choreography & music
• Use the following to prepare for rehearsal:
  • Sheet Music
  • Guide Vocal Track
  • Performance Track
  • Choreography Practice Video

 

Performance Date: Wednesday, August 20^th in South’s Auditorium

• Arrive: 4:30pm in South’s auditorium (wearing your “costume”)
• Final Rehearsal: 4:30pm-5:30pm
• Performance: approximately 5:45pm or 6:00pm
• Dismissal: 6:00pm-6:15pm (please have a ride home immediately following the performance)
• Costume: Wear your Once Upon a Mattress Jr. t-shirt with black pants or shorts, black socks, black jazz shoes or black sneakers. All clothes should follow school dress code. We are trying to be a good example for the incoming 6th graders
• Hair: Please pull your hair back off your face, so that your facial expressions are easy to see 
• Parents are welcome to attend the performance. Just note, that seating in the auditorium will be limited as this is a 6th-grade Open House/Back to School Night
